What does Promises Dallas-Fort Worth treat?
We treat substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, heroin, benzodiazepines, methamphetamine, cocaine and prescription drugs. We also provide primary mental health treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and PTSD, and dual diagnosis care when both are present.
What levels of care do you offer?
Our continuum includes medical detox, residential addiction treatment, residential mental health treatment, an in-person partial hospitalization program (PHP) and a virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP). Every client leaves with an aftercare plan.
Can I do intensive outpatient treatment from home?
Yes. Our virtual IOP is available to adults anywhere in Texas. Clients meet with their treatment team online several days a week while they keep up with work, school and family life.

Do you accept insurance?

How does admission work?
Start by calling (469) 546-9303 or verifying your insurance online. An admissions coordinator will complete a confidential phone assessment, confirm your benefits and help plan your arrival. When a bed is available, admission can often happen the same day. Read more about our admissions process.
How long does treatment last?
Length of stay depends on each person’s clinical needs, progress and insurance authorization. Your treatment team reviews your plan regularly and helps you step down to PHP, virtual IOP or aftercare when you are ready.
Is treatment confidential?
Yes. Your health information is protected by federal privacy laws, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, which adds extra protections for substance use treatment records. We share information only with your written consent or as the law allows.
Can my family be involved?
Yes. Addiction and mental health conditions affect the whole family, and family therapy is part of treatment when appropriate. Families can also find guidance on supporting a loved one.
