All Savers Insurance Company is a UnitedHealthcare company, and its name most often appears on health plans offered by small businesses. If you work for a smaller employer, such as a local practice, a family-owned company or a startup, your coverage may be an All Savers plan.
Promises Dallas-Fort Worth is in network with UnitedHealthcare, and All Savers is part of that contract. This page explains how that works, what an All Savers plan may cover for addiction and mental health treatment, and how to check your benefits confidentially.
All Savers and Our UnitedHealthcare Contract
Our UnitedHealthcare agreement includes All Savers along with other UnitedHealthcare-affiliated plans. All Savers plans commonly use a UnitedHealthcare provider network, which means members may be able to use in-network benefits at our Lewisville facility, subject to plan terms.
What “Level-Funded” Means for You
Many All Savers plans are level-funded. In a level-funded arrangement, a small employer pays a steady monthly amount that covers expected claims, administrative costs and a form of insurance that protects the business if claims run high. It sits somewhere between traditional insurance and a fully self-funded plan.
For you as a member, the day-to-day experience usually looks like any other health plan. You have a card, a deductible and an out-of-pocket maximum. The difference is that your employer chose the plan design from a menu of options, so benefits for behavioral health can vary from one small business to the next. Your plan documents, available from your employer, spell out the details.
What an All Savers Plan May Cover
Depending on your plan design, medical necessity and prior authorization, an All Savers plan may include benefits for:
- Medical detox for alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines and other substances
- Residential treatment for a primary substance use disorder or a primary mental health condition
- A partial hospitalization program held in person at our Lewisville campus
- A virtual intensive outpatient program for adults anywhere in Texas who need treatment several days a week while keeping up with work and home
For people who work at small companies, time away can feel especially hard to arrange. Knowing that care can step down from residential treatment to PHP or virtual IOP may make it easier to plan a return to work. Each step down is typically reviewed by the plan, so authorization for one level of care doesn’t automatically carry over to the next.
Checking Your All Savers Benefits
Start with the member phone number on your card. Ask whether Promises Dallas-Fort Worth is in network for your plan, how much of your deductible you’ve met, what coinsurance applies to inpatient and outpatient behavioral health care, and which services need prior authorization. Note the call date and reference number.
